My Style, Focus, & Philosophy

I specialize in treating chronic pain, stiffness, and stress caused by office/computer work, old injuries or trauma, sports injuries, lack of exercise, or depression. These issues may require deep muscle work, releasing of trigger points and fascia, and/or energy work.

I try my best to "wrap" the more vigorous techniques into an integrated massage that is as relaxing as possible. Popular opinion and my personal experience indicate that the relaxation response is one of the most effective treatments of all.

Note: Many people believe that if they are not cringing in pain, the massage technique is not effective. I don't find that to be true. I am strong and my work is deep and effective, but it is not invasive and painful.

If you have no specific "issues", but are sore from the muscle strain of intense workouts, don't worry. I have had sports practices in Seattle, Washington and Cabarete, Dominican Republic.

In the DR I had a fun practice working with super enthusiastic wind-, wave-, and kitesurfers, as well as patients from the local chiropractic clinic.
My Seattle clients were similar to those here in Boston, training for road races and tweaking their necks in triangle pose.
Yes, I've done thousands of massages, but I'm still not tired!
I love my work and I look forward to meeting YOU.
